View Full Version : The Taffia 2008- Cardiff and beyond, last Thursday of the month
These meets are in addition to these (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=101798) Taffia meets.
The Cardiff (and beyond) Taffia meet will be on the last Thursday of each month (at least to start with) due to this (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=101694)vote.
The first few meets of the year will be held at The Wharf (http://www.sabrain.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=pub.PubDetails&PubID=42D14F93-65B8-F208-528611E3A37D24B1) pub in Cardiff. Later dates/venues TBA.
Thursday January 31st
Thursday February 28th
Thursday March 27th
Thursday April 24th

I cant make it now either.....
what was supposed to be a 5 minute job has turned into 2 hours of swearing at my bike....
I think Kawasaki spot welded the oil filter in place, as it rounded off when trying to use the correct tool to undo it, refused to budge when hit with a screwdriver.. and now is in a state of chaos ! and where they have placed the oil filter on this bike means that you can get no other tools near the damned thing.... so going to have to strip the bike to attempt to get the filter off.. hence why I cant go tomorrow :(

How easy is it for me to find considering I never get lost as I always follow the bike in front and chances are I'll be making over the bridge on me own?
Whats the parking like (how big a chain should I bring)?
Finally, if I do come I better not be the only one on a bike.

you might have been. i can't remember.
bikes can be parked in view of the windows so prob no need for a chain.

I shall be in Cardiff and attending the said venue, but not at any time before 7pm.. or much before 7.20 to be honest !
I will be engaged in a game of 5 a side until 7ish near Leckwith..... wrong side of Cardiff.. but its easy enough to navigate around the outskirts of Cardiff anyway... give me a PM, and if you need guiding in, I can attempt to navigate for you... just pick a meeting spot.. and NO ! not on the M4 !

So apart from this, are there any other ride outs, like on weekends, perhaps going from Cardiff area towards the cafe on the promanade at Porthcawl where everyone seems to gather these warm summer nights? Maybe worth arranging one for a Sunday or something in the future?
we used to go out saturdays quite reguler, before xmas..............
