A little rave, a little rant and some thing to help the title make sense.
The Good - Chips Away Reading. They are not a mobile unit but have a lock up near the football stadium. A VERY professional outfit. A++++ job. Had some scratches cleared and a panel re-sprayed on the car and it looks fab. They get a lot of work from Reading's Lancaster Aston Martin...so that shows the quality of their work.
The Bad - VW Reading. What a bunch of frickers. Wanted to get my Golf (Red 2003 MkIV 2.0 GTI, factory fitted body kit and big rims) valued for a private sale. The plan was to get it upgraded (not now...frickers). They suggested I went off and had a look on the web myself. They said they wouldn't waste there time putting on there forecourt so couldn't give me a price. I said could they give me a price if I part exchanged it, they would. FRICKERS.:smt092:smt021
