Yay im *kinda* (shouldnt really be riding but was only a short ride) back on 2 wheels after 5 months
As some of ypu know i had a nasty accident in Sept where my lovely yellow curvy was written off and i broke my left leg in 2 places (thought id do a good job of it ;) )
Well ive since bought the lovely Ibishus blue curvy and collected it from the soho meet last night and then rode it to tsms' where she will stay until i get the ok from Docs to ride again (currently signed off until 11th Feb!)
Now not only was it my first time back on a bike but also me first time riding in/through london!!! :| needless to say i v quickly learnt how to filter lol.
Well i survived and tbh quite enjoyed it :) , felt good to be back on 2 wheels!! :smt031

Most excellent indeed. Well done you. But surely it is you that knows when your leg is ready for riding not the doctor :?:

I remember when I broke my collarbone I had waited 10 weeks for it to mend before they decided to plate and pin it. 5 days after the op I turned up at my first appointment with the consultant on the bike. He frowned at me. But at the end of the day, it felt OK to ride. The only issue was getting the bike jacket on and off. Riding was easy.

My neuro consultant went mental at me because I turned up for an appointment on my ZX9-R, it was only 3 weeks after I'd suffered a mini-stroke. I felt fine to ride, as long as I didn't take any medication for 24 hours beforehand.

Cheers guys :)
Bigape-breaks weren't clean breaks so its taken longer for them to close up and start to knit (was in plaster 15 weeks), i KNOW im not ready as its still hurting and bruised, i can go pillion for half an hour max, any longer and it hurts :(

675 is due in March
