Decent ride today, especially when Tony and myself ditched the deadwood and took to the twisties. ;)
Shame you had to leave so early Nick. <cracks whip> :p
Always nice to bump into another TVSF'er...good to see you Ian.
Roll on the summer, better weather and longer daylight hours.
Consequently, Tony i assume you found your way onto the A404(m) and M4 ok?

TBH I wanted to bimble home at my own pace, I wasn't interested in doing those speeds , did that all the way there!

More importantly....did your mate make it home?

Yeah, he had a good ride home at his own pace too, said he felt a lot more confident now..
It was a good run out tho, enjoyed the Ace to Fox's ride, esp the Marlow - Henley section :-)

There speaks a man of intelligence. Some would have wanted not to look a wimp and tried to keep up and going out of the comfort zone. Good for you.
Now also wishing I had been on the SV and not in the car. Sounded fun.

You would have been too slow to keep pace old man. :p

I expect your dead right. However, unlike Nick, I am foolish and would have tried to keep up.

Maybe the 20g you will drop when your finger is removed, might help your speed? :D

Sounded good, shame I was in Alvechurch. I did fish hill again but felt so sick from the bottle of whisky that I nearly vommed each time I tipped the bike in.

I was at Fox's yesterday too. Albeit very briefly thanks to my mates kid who deided to drink some battery acid so we had to rush off as soon as we'd got there. Mate was on a Blackbird and I was on the green terror.
Kids are stupid eh, luckily he's fine.

It was the only one there at the time. I was looking out for you lot, well, the white boots are a dead giveaway. :p

As was I, albeit only for twenty minutes around 2pm because, frankly, it's a bit rubbish really, isn't it. Unless you're over 50 - very popular with the SAGA crowd, it seems.

Think we went past around 1.30-2pm (bronze ZX6r and white cbr), didn't stop there... went on and had some snacks at MaceeDees at the next roundabout by the garage.

LOL!
In fairness i find that most biker meets/cafes are infested with the elderly.

True. i often feel like a right young whipper snapper at Fox's. i m gettin to know the regular crusties ther now though. i think they recognise me. i even get a grunt off them ocasionally! There is one guy who always turns up on a mint 2008(ish) blade - I want it.

It's okay. Most of them who turn up get there and forget why they came out and who they were with. I tend to point them towards the local post office to collect their pension.
It does make me giggle when I see an old dodger on the latest bike with the latest set of racing leathers only to bimble around the roundabout at 6mph with NHS stabilisers on. Ah bless. Ride like your hair's on fire is my motto.

I think i know the one you're talking about. Its so mint that it must be seriously low miles and never seen rain/dirt/speeds above 30 where flystrike might leave a stain.
I also want it.

True, I'd still rather be at home watching teevee.

It's only the oldies that can insure a Blade isn't it?!
I see it all the time, brand spanking new Blade turns up with a power ranger on board, takes the lid off and he's pushing 80! :-)

He probably has senile dementia. With a bit of guile i could probably persuade him to sign it over to me.
Hey stop picking on the aged. You'll be there one day you know.
