It's always a good match in my house. What with Jo being Welsh and all.

This match may well define our campaign. A good start and the matches line up nicely for a tilt at the title. We are never short of optimism here.......

Good luck to the Taffs, beat us fair and square. England should have been out of sight by half time but kept kicking instead of passing.
Panic set in in the last half hour and the Welsh took full advantage of poor passing and decision making. Another bad year for English rugby coming up I'm afraid, its Kick and kick instead of trying to pass the ball.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh im in heaven :)

No becaude the Welsh won, but because we wont have to keep hearing about how the english are going to do the Grand Slam yet again (Ok us jocks have got so much wood in the trophy cabinet that the country need not worry bout global warming coz it will float) and for that I am sooooooooo happy :)

We played a lot of rubbish. Full Stop. The welsh deserved all the points they got.

I'm checking my dual nationality credentials to se if Australia qualify for this but have a feeling tbey don't.

Great match, but who'd have thought it. Totally deserved on the basis of that English performance.

Come across the Severn and watch Ospreylia

England beaten by a club side. They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory just as much as the Walspreys won the game.

I'm playing footy with my Welsh mates this evening. Gonna a get a bit of stick for my pre-match prediction of a 45-6 England win. Oh well.....

Yeah those rugby players going flying after tripping on a blade of grass and wriggling around in agony for 5 minutes, or until the other team are penalised in one shape or form.

England got the result they deserved so did the Welsh :(

(You have no idea how PAINFUL that was to type) !!!

As far as a I can see England made 3 major mistakes :-

(1) Picking Iain Balshaw in the first place :smt013

(2) Only having 1 attempt at scoring a try before letting JW take the drop-goal :smt013

(3) Letting JW kick a penalty instead of kicking for the corner when England were totally dominant in the lineout. :smt013

If, & it is an if, England had taken those 2 chances then they'd have had 30 points at halftime - then the result just might have been different.
