.....You felt part of the ORG. ? you know what I mean, you come on and say hello and a load of people come and say hello back and gradually you start to get involved and build a few posts up, and then one day you kinda realise you,re part of it all, for me it was the build up to AR 07 I posted up to ask if I could come even though I had a kwak and luckypants replied something like 'oh, go on then, seeing as its you' or something similar, and from that point onwards I felt part of the crew, so what about the rest of you ?

That bloody deer sealed my fate in the org, cause you all made me feel like a superstar when I got there, and yes there was that pleasant young man called stewie who dished out all them pucks when we got there

ahhhhh tis all cuddly wuddly soft in the org:grouphug:

When I felt part - two defining moments.

First, when admin called me and suggested a drink. Can't rememberwhen it was...

Second, after I had my off in June 2004. I posted what had happened and along comes Richie, and I thought 'wow' - these people really do care.

I'm far too ugly, obnoxious and opinionated to be accepted as a regular :D

Actually, I felt a little closer to being a part of the group after a meet up at Foxes, and just after that when I made a few comments about "American built large capacity V-Twin cruiser style motorcycles" and got a fair bit of support in the tooing and froing that followed.

Probably 2004 when I'd not long had an SV and I started going out with people on rideouts, then out with them socially (which I still do). I've made a lot of good friends through here, so even though I'm not really part of it anymore, I'll always love this site.

For me I felt at home pretty much from day one everyone has always been lovely and friendly and that's what I've come to expect from the .org and carry on that tradition if I can.

However there are always some special memories of members of this place and one of them is when I had to move to london from Bristol knew no one here and was to be honest petrified of the place. Friday night after college I went down to Soho walked around the courner to be met with a sea of faces that I knew from the AR and suddenly felt at home and that this daunting city wasnt so bad after all.

Tricky, that's more or less what I said, unless you post regularly you can feel a bit of an observer, I know how you feel. But as soon as you post you get a warm reception. Meeting face to face is always good. I've met with a few of the Essex crew but not regularly.

Hopefully I'll be able to names to faces if I make the Silverstone trackday on 31st March :D
