Work pay for 90%+ of my mileage, but probably only 60% of my food budget, so I'd have to say food.
petrol just, two cars and a bike!!!

food, you can't eat petrol, and I'm afraid my rumbly tummy is more important,
I'll answer this in april....!
Considering I generally shop and fill up at Tescos they get my money either way.

I would say petrol, i'm gonna be running 2 more vehicles soon casue with food I always to buy of the bargins counter, if its going cheap its mine I'm on a mission to save at the moment. Buy one get one free, its mine as well. Buying in bulk is best but always seem to end up spending about £30-35/week on food without beer, which I really must give up.

Petrol, twin turbos and 280 hp don't come cheap, even when you live only 11 miles from work.
I'm cycling tomorrow as part of my economy/fitness drive :)
At the moment, I spend about 45 quid a week on petrol and combined about 50 quid between the 2 of us, so on my own, I spend more on petrol.
Between my girlfriend and me we do one big shop a month which is normally £120 then £25 a week on fresh lunches, so say £220 a month on food.
I spend £500 a month on petrol, she spends £250 a month on petrol.
So in our household it easily falls to petrol being the most spent on.

Diesel / Petrol for me - by a Looooooooong way!
Food bill between two of us has crept up to about £60 per week (used to be more like £40 a year ago for the same stuff), but we're spoffing an easy £100 (normally a fair bit more) on fuel between the 2 cars.
That's before I put a drop into the Bike......
