Ok guys & girls, my internet connection is being so incredibly slow it won't let me upload the photos of my bike. So if anyone is genuinely interested in buying the bike pm me your email address and I'll attach the photos that way.

Sammy, just a few words of advice on the pictures, get out and wash it! Bikes look much better when theyre clean, plus you'll find it easier to sell! Once you've cleaned all the shiny bits, take some photos of it when its outside, preferably without the flash in daylight. Some nice side shots (Opposite side from the sidestand) plus those attn to detail (which you have done) will make it much more appealing to potential buyers

Good luck with the sale - looks a nice bike (under the muck!)

Yeah I know, Hovis PM'd me the same. Unfortunately they had to be taken quick (I was supposed to be working!) and they were taken on my camera phone which is not that great with contrast/light. I'd cleaned it the day before...all that road muck is just from 35 mile commute from Hartlepool to Newcastle....What's with the stuff on the roads up here?! The surfaces are much better but the bike ALWAYS seems to be covered in muck just to and from work no matter what the weather?

While we're on the subject of cleaning..does anyone know of any garages/petrol station that has a pressure washer? I'm not allowed to wash the bike where I live because of the Marina.

Why is that?

The roads are only bad in winter because they put so much grit down it takes weeks to wash away.

Camera phone should be ok in the daylight as even the lesser cam phones arent that bad these days.

I think the company that owns the flats are trying to be "Green". They don't want the oily/dirty water running into the harbour...Don't know why....The water looks dirty and oily already!

is it a good idea to wash it with a pressure washer? with a bike it can sometimes get into places you don't really want water and can blow bits off? no?

ive used jet washers for years with no problems,

youve just got to watch where you point it, keep away from wheel bearings head bearings etc, dont blast from 2in at the clocks and stuff, careful near things electrical and youll be ok

oh, and be careful nr stickers..you can shoot them straight off,,,,,,,,,,,
