but as i carry a trusty rag with polish, disaster avoided

It happened on the way to work

Hmm yeah, that'll teach you for riding it outside I suppose. Maybe you should get someone to walk in front and scrub the road surface clean for you :)

Arr this would make the bike sweat then i would get a water mark..
