Shoei pinlock help

I have just bought myself a SHoei XR1000 and cant make head nor tales of how to get the pinlock visor on....Anyone got step by step instructions..would be appreciated. I'm hopeless when it comes to reading the manuals lol.

This is how I do it.

take the Pinlock and fit one side of it into the locating pins on your visor. Then bend the visor flat and that will make it easier to get the other end of the pinlock in.

You should find that when you bend the visor flat the sililcone on the pinlock will hold it against the visor and then you wiggle the other end into the locating pins and then when you let the visor return to its normal shape you should find the pinlock does its own thing and forms it shape to that of the visor.

Its quite simple to do, just give it a go

Thanks for the reply..but how do u get the visor off?

Push the visor all the way up and then look for a tiny handle,( At the side of the helmet) pull that in a downward motion and the visor will detach from the helmet. Repeat on other side.

To put back on repeat the process but you will find that the visor can be clicked back in at the sides.

I got it now :D

My old helmet was a cheapy and didn't have this fancy release mechanism at all. Came off dead easy. Thanks for all your help. Will fit the pin lock straight away.
