the good & the bad

the good:
i went out today seeing as the sun was out & no sign of rain.
the new v-strom handguards work a treat having mived them very slightly down/round the bars.

the bad:
the back tyre (Metzeler MEZ4) really needs changing - it was very squirmy on roads that were anything but perfect. i would go as far to say its probably illegal . it could poss' be the original from '99. i have seen a pair of Michelin Pilot Sport on Busters Aceessories for ?120.

any comments on these tyres will be most welcome

If you know somwhere to fit those tyres from Busters Id get them ASAP.Old Z4s must be a bit past their best to say the least.Be like getting a new bike I reckon.

i could not agree more. a mate of mine has a tyre fitting machine so i think they have to be a bargain. i got myself a bit worried more than once today so i think i have to bite the bullet & get them bought
