Confused about upgradeable parts.

I'm currently saving up around £1000 to spend on my SV650S K7 Pearl Vigor Blue (YKY) bike. But I'm confused about what parts are available for my bike.

The first thing I'm confused about is will K4/K5/K6 parts for example fit my K7 bike? What parts are incompatible for my bike? Why is K7 upgradeable parts rare to come across?

The next bit of confusion is what parts can I get in Pearl Vigor Blue (YKY)? The dealer where I got my bike from said that Suzuki only made certain upgrades in certain colours so I fear this could scupper my plans on particular upgrades.

Here's a list of upgrades I'm after for starters (you'll have to excuse me if I get the names wrong I've only had the SV a few months):

Lowers (to make the bike go from semi to fully faired)
Double bubble iridium or blue (not sure yet) screen
Rear hugger
R+G crash bungs and cotton reels
Scottoiler
Seat cowl (the thing that blanks the rear seat)

Now which bits of body work in that list cannot do due to having iver a K7 bike, or parts that are not available in my bike colour?

Following up from the above I went to the dealer today and here's what I got told:

?405 99ODO-17G20-YKY Lowers
?45.50 45500-16861-YKY Seat Cowl
?110 Scottoiler fitted

So I'm over the moon that the main bits I wanted are available. Now onto my next questions.

1. Does the seat cowl just clip in like the seat does or is it fixed down?
2. How hard is the rear hugger to fit? Does it need the rear wheel dropping out?
3. How complicated are the lowers to fit? Are they easy enough for anyone to fit or is it best left for the garage to fit?

Is that rear hugger painted then? If so, thats really cheap - I got a quote from a Suzuki dealer for a hugger for my K3 in silver and it was about 200 quid...easy to fit tho - a socket set and a srewdriver is all you need IIRC.

The seat cowl is dead easy too - 30 min job max...same basic tools...

1. seat cowl fits the same as the seat, grab on or off, your call.
2. hugger should go in without removing wheel, chain guard may have to go depending on hugger model.
3. lowers are easy to fit, but you will need to look at one with them on, for a guide with the brackets.:smt101

The R+G bits and screen you want you can order locally from Graham at GLF Accessories in Flitwick. Scottoilers are available from stock at Flitwick Motorcycles. You can fit a Scottoiler with guidance in about an hour and save a fortune on labour.

I have been too'ing and fro'ing with the idea of fitting it myself but for the ?40 fitting cost to have it done properly and neatly I think the garage would be the best place for it to be fitted.
Maybe I just have more money then sense when it comes down to it. :/

You can't tell my bike has a Scottoiler unless you look really hard.
