Hey guys
im new to this forum, introduced to it by wide boy, im 16 and ride a tzr 50 (yeh i no its only a fifty but the law says i cant ride anythin bigger till im 17) so bring on the 8th of agaust.
im planning on buid a project bike, mostly a vfr 400 nc30 with a tyga fairing and tail unit, and then after i get used to it i plan to put a 600 front end on it (no usd on the standard 1's), i am going to keep the original fairings and remove the 33 bhp restrictors for track days and plan to gradually convert the bike into something i can use 2 race once i finish college and start earning.
plan on doin somekind of motorcycle engineering course after college and hopefully gettin in with a racing team or manufacture.
that about it, o i live in the south, winchester in hampshire and love all bike racing

Ello spike, welcome to the forum. Your a brave one coming in here and wanting a hon*a right away :p
Only joking! I wanted an NC30 for ages, but decided an SV was better for the road, and for my size. Won't it be a pain in the rear end removing the resrictor kit for every trackday? Leave it in, and embaress some people...then further embaress them when you tell them after that your restricted ;)
Good luck with the test, get the theory done as soon as you can and hit the training on your 17th birthday :D

Dude the SV is perfect for you, it really is. I'm 5 7" I weight 10 1/2 stone, have a 29" leg trust me the bike if fine for you! I love mine to bits you won't go wrong with it. You could also get some farings sprayed how ever you want, there aren't too hard to come by. Also mine has lowers as well, so there ya go problem solved!

I wouldn't worry to much I still think you can handle the bike, the chances are that you will probally grow, but for sure you will put weight on. A lot of ladies ride the SV for the exact reason its good bike for to handle ect....oh yeah works well for a short ass like me!
I would say try it, out go from there well if you don't put weight head to the gym and bulk up;) I did a session tonight, my muscles will be stiff tomorrow, do you think the ladies will notice!
