Radical? Maybe, ugly definitely! :)

At the end of the day, i guess it doesn't matter as long as it's quick, but what the hell is going on around the exhaust hanger??

Its not going to win any beauty contests! Lets hope the performance on track makes up for it! :)

i think if they were 2 change that front mud-guard and front fairing it would look alot better.

I reckon this is the result of the aerodynamics work they mention.

It's a bit like the approach from Ducati on the front fairing.

Making it push the air well round the rider. Whereas some of the 2007 bikes the rider was still partially in the air stream.

But what IS that hangar / scaffolding about on the rear?

Stick two bug eye lights on the front and it's getting back to a mid 80's honda vibe ;)

Cheers

Ahem.Is that a tax disc stuck on the rear bodywork above the zaust?:D

It's really only the stubby open mouthed nose that makes it look "wrong". Form follows function. I quite like it, though. It's hard to dislike a gp bike.

I think that's rather tasty.

Not as nice as the 990...

Personally I think the latest Suzuki looks extremely purposeful with a lot of R and D time spent in the wind tunnel. Definitely not ugly but then again is anything as pretty as the Yamaha's? I think not.

Not sure I like the look of the pointed 'nad catcher on the lip of the tank though

Not quite enough time, it would seem. I think they've gone back to the '07 bodywork because they weren't happy with the performance of the latest carbon fibre.

The Yamahas aren't quite as pretty this year, IMO, now that they've got big fairings and that "flared" tail piece. The best-looking MotoGP bike has always been the RC211V for me: so purposeful.

It looks like it fell out of the Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way down.

The exhaust is quite cool, could be done on the SV in massive pipe, get equal length headers that way too 8)

In the style of Andy Pipkin

"I don't like it!"
