View Full Version : I'm back
Looking for info. I just don't feel confident on the bike anymore and am seriously thinking of selling it :( just can't see the point of keeping it the garage when I have no impulse to ride. Think I managed to get out half a dozen times last year, one rideout which I didn't enjoy at all, and the other five were to/from work because the weather was nice, but to be honest it was a real fag having to change from leathers into office suit.
Anyway the info required - whats it worth? best place to sell?
1999
SV 650 S
Lower fairings
Heated Grips
Gel seat (by Melvin)
lowered (still have original dogbones)
and PINK

I think you have seriously limited the selling potential for obvious reasons.
I'm guessing that another lady rider would appreciate the colour :D
Or call it Atomic Red. It worked for Triumph.

Oops, I meant nuclear red.

That looks pretty close
But anyway what I'm really after is what its worth and where to sell?

Keep it,get back on it and take a few long rides alone and at your pace.Weathers looking up and you will soon rediscover that old feeling.

I wish, I did try that the end of the summer last year and really didn't feel 'it' at all. I could leave it the garage and try again when the weather gets a bit warmer, but to be honest I think I'm a much, much happier pillion.
You can put it in the for sale section, but I'd look on ebay and bike trader to see what equivelent bikes go for.
More importantly, come down to SELKENT and lets be seeing you :)

Shove it up on biketrader. It's about £20 for a couple of weeks but you should get some interest.

I would hold onto it unil summer ot see if you can get yourself back in the saddle. But it's your choice to make. Good luck with either outcome though.
