I have an interview tomorrow at :plod:HQ as there is a vacancy on the motorcycle section, if I'm successful I'll get paid to ride around all day on the new FJR1300 (when we take delivery of them - currently away getting blue lights stuck on them).
Just been sat studying/preping and now the butterflies in the old tum tum appear to have turned into a couple of birds of prey flapping around in there.

Whenever I go for a job interview I look at the job spec in the advert and think to myself, 'Can I do that job? Yes, of course I can!'
Sure it's more complex than this but - Are you a copper?... Yes. Can you ride a bike?... Yes.
Then guess what, you can be a bike riding copper!
You're fully capable of doing the job so have nothing to be nervous about.
Go in there relaxed, smiling, calm and confident, then tell them why you're not nervous.
Good Luck! :thumleft:
Good luck for the interview matey :)
Something I'd love to do..

Good luck.
(I'm going to create a tangent thread on the back of this) :)
good luck mate hope it goes well for you
If only it was as simple as that Ralph! Graeme has obviously been on the community beat for a while and his traffic is probably a bit rusty. I actually thought that you had to go through the cars before getting to the bikes.
All the best Graeme, let us know how it goes mate.

:smt003, no I'm sure it's not but lets not concentrate on that bit, he's alrady nervous...
Confidence is a preference for the habitual voyeur of what is known as.....
A voyeur is a perv in my definition, I've ever understood those lyrics, but hey its a great line anyway.
