I have searched, and cannot definitively decide whether i have H4 or H7.

The bike is a 2000 SV650S.

I am guessing there are 2 H4s in the twin headlights?

H7s are dual filament? therefor i have 2 bulbs in each headlight?

ARGH! The confusion. It hurts.

If it's a UK bike they are H4's

And H7 are single filament. You have H4s.

I think you will find it impossible to find H4 bulbs.

However, a large selection of H4 lamps are available.

If you're going to use Wikipedia to support your argument, then take a look at this page:

I'd go with Osram Night breakers for the Curvy SVS.

Im only going on what ive read on the forums here, they seem to get a good rating from everyone thats used them. Also get free blue sidelight bulbs thrown in from there... trying to decide if im chav enough to use em...

That website also has the Osram Nightbreakers Dave suggested, same price as the Phillips.

Xtreme power and Nightbreakers should give pretty comparable performance. I was pretty impressed by the Nightbreakers, they're noticably better than Silverstars which are noticably better than standard...
