j, not my place to say really but people are not ussually after the entire back end of a bike. Ussually just bits a peices. why dont u break it all down, cost all the individual parts and sell them. You may have more interest this way. People are always looking on flebay for parts. You might even make a bit more! who knows. Just a suggestion;)

Wrong
If its a K3 it will ONLY fit on a K3
K4 onwards are all the same but the K3 was an interim model and the rear was what later got changed the most.

subframe was changed - toolkit holder was created under the battery box as there was now not enough room under the seat for the toolkit and anything else.
I dont know exactly - but I would assume that the plastics are slightly different too.
And dont even consider swapping bits between a 650 and a 1000.
Some bits might be ok, but you would be best to look up each part on the microfiche for part number and compare the K3 and the K4 onwards.

It was different on the 650, I think the SV1000 may have been the same part throughout. Not completely sure. It was rumoured that the tail unit of the SV1000 was used on the 650 for one of those 2 versions, but now I'm into a level of certanty equal to "this guy down the pub, his mate said he'd heard this"
Ron Ayers website would tell you the codes for the subframe, but I can't bring myself to make the effort ;)

i was just wondering wot was different thats all just incase i needed anything ya no.;)
The chap on sv portal says it came off his K3 but it is a K4 so bump open to offers on parts now as i need to shift....
Alot of parts on ron ayers microfiche have very similar part codes K3 upwards codes seem only different for colour changes
and after checking rear frame no's apart from bike model code ie sv1000 and sv650 thay are the same... (sv650 = 17G sv1000 = 16G)
