Well then, here we are again. Time for the meet up, chat, p**s taking and 'avin a laugh. For the newbies come and meet the old sweats. for the old sweats come and say hello to new meat.

For the ones that seem to have forgotten where the hell the pub is, go look at a map, refresh your memory and get yer buttocks to the meet.

I'll be there, but it might take me a while - i'm having to ride very carefully on the Z until i sort the brakes out. she currently stops at about the same pace as an oil tanker. Not very confidence inspiring. if I can find the right bolts I'll do the 'blade calipers tomorrow, but they are a bit unusual so I'll probably end up ordering them by post :-(

so I take it you've decided on the new bike then ;-) that didn't take long! i'll be there, but i won't ride it if it's icy or wet (for obvious reasons:rolleyes:) as i'm only third party on other bikes.

ooh, nice to see we should be getting a visit from Dan too! I will be there. Phil, we can take it easy, it might be bloody cold actually that night. Lets hope there is no ice! Or we could go in the car if it is too dangerous.

Well its your first language, not mine, but i thought it meant twice...ergo twice a week.

Fortnightly would therefore be bi-monthly.

Although it could mean 2...therfore every 2 weeks.

Thats my logic and i'm sticking with it, right or wrong! :p

Is it called Wanda though?

I have two cats. One of which is a stunt cat. I opened the garage this morning to find Daisy sat backwards on my bike seat. I think I will re-name her..........

Evil Cat-neivel........boom boom! :D

I'm very happy today.

falc

I'm very happy gay today.

Good for you Dan, you always seem to be... :D

I could use the fish to lure in a stray cat and trap it inside or just outside the shed... Should be fine though, its a new shed and the wood along the bottom bows up slightly, obviously big enough for a mouse to get through.

Yes a cat could prove useful, but it wasn't too bad when I checked, they seemed to start eating the bbq coal and then stopped... the big pool of brake fluid that leaked out may have put an end to them.

Consequently as attendance looks set to be a record(over 11) then someone needs to get there early and bag us a few tables. Basically take that whole area where we usually sit.

I vote for the ape........

I also shotgun not sitting next to the ape, should he decide to remove his socks again! :)

Just collect SDMF at midday and drop him off at the Shire Horse! That way we get all the seats/tables we need and James gets to spend some time down the pub.

Its sad that she ain't allowed out on it with me, she has been once and loved it(was on the SV mind you), was telling me it was fun and everything :)

Her parents just don't like the idea, and in all fairness, I know it sounds silly and I know I want to be able to share the great things about biking with her, my luck, we would come off and she would get hurt, and I don't want that. Been 19 and having only covered 19-20k in a year and a bit, I want to have around 5 years till I have someone back on properly who is not biking experienced etc. Just my way on it spose.
