write down when you in the mirror on paper, then move the bike forward and then backwards, now go look on the floor by the front wheel lock and you should see some more of the code.
now put the two together and you will have the door code
the mirror give you the bottom part of the code the reflection off the floor gives you the top part of the code
look at the pile of tyres and then "use" the remote control and it will come out
Wheres the RC?

I can't get that final door code whatever I do, the two parts aren't working out to any code that works! Thought I had it narrowed down by what were the possibilities by putting the two bits together but just can't get it.
DoubleD

Put the hook on wall next to the front handle bars (the one from the fridge), now put the mirror on the hooks and you will get the bottom part of the code the reflection off the floor gives you the top part of the code after you have moved the bike forward and backwards.

Ah ok. Still, can't decipher mine? Thought it was 8239 - that would be with the fairing code on top and the tyre code on the bottom (other way round doesn't seem to make sense). I've also tried 9328 with no luck, in case it was supposed to be mirrored...

Cheers...now I see why, those arrows DO NOT signify the orientation of the writing :( - they need to face outwards and it's nothing too clever, just read the characters as they are! I was trying to reflect them, etc, and because I thought the arrows signified the "up" direction I got nowhere lol...

17-02-08, 12:15 AM
the arrows tell you what part goes where one points up/down to tell you where the bit goes. Mine was 1257 but when i wrote it down i thought it was upside down  may just have been beer that made me think that :D

Done it, although I'm sure it's promoting theft. It can't be my bike, there's no way it would be that difficult if it was :)

can you buy those digital lock paddock stands in the real world? I want one :)
then I can hide the tv remote in a brief case behind the fridge and put the tv in the toaster on a shelf disguised as a microwave and write the digital lock code in arabic on the back of an envelope and post it to peru, marked "return to sender"...
