charging system check - values

Hi ,

I checked out the charging system to check RR as thought I might have a problem

Are these values ok :

across battery ( no engine running ) = 12.62v
bike running @ 2500 rpm = 14.43v
bike running @ 5000 rpm = 14.46v

Agreed, those numbers look OK to me. How old is the battery, and was that voltage obtained after charging it?

battery is original and is almost 2 years and 27k miles old , not charged on charger just as is .

For some reason I thought I might have problems with my RR , must have read to many threads on here re RR woes

I even gave it a 10 min clean and greased the battery terminals
