I went out for a walk around the local park this weekend with the family, and snapped this shot, it's now my desktop background as I find it most relaxing....

There is a man made lake that we like to go to with the kids. A nice gentle stroll around the lake, feeding the ducks, then lazying on a park bench while the kids go and play.

Ha ha, that snow was about 5 foot high, I actually jumped off the top of the snow fence (the top of which was poking about 6 inches out of the snow) onto that spot, hence the lack of trail/foot prints!

it's a scan of a pic from the late nineties if I remember:rolleyes:, this phenomenon was never to be repeated again. Dense fog froze on everything, then beautiful sunshine came. SLR canon T90. The oak is gone, as lightning hit it few years later

I took this photo of a Damsel fly on the River Dordoyne in France August '06.
Canoeing down the river I could see these fellas all over the place. They were increadibly 'tame'.
I took this from about 6 inches away with a casio QV-R41.
