Ok just sat on bike to ride home from mrs and seat was frozen, sat on it and it ripped.
So now need to recover seat, what seems to be best and cheapest stuff to use? How much it cost and where can i get it from?
Cheers :D

well the cheapest will be a bit of vinyl and a staple gun, however buglux do a range of either single or multi coloured covers.
Here's a buglux one fitted to the SV ( although originally intended for A gxsr).

and because it's elasticated you can move it to another bike, here's the same one on the Triumph.

Another way is to get a seat cover for something else and cut & staple it to fit.
Here's a lambretta one fitted to the Triumph seat, cost £3 off ebay, how cheap do you want it ?

Bit of imagination is all it takes.
Cheers Mark.

if you have one of those soft holdall things that might do ?, or of course you could use an old leather jacket ( but be warned they hold water so "wet seat syndrome"), has to be fairly heavy duty, and you'll need to borrow a heavy duty staple gun.
Cheers Mark.

I redid my Virago's seat using a couple of horrible 70s vinyl seat cushions  Very fetching.

I'm gettin my Dad to make me a good new cover for my seat :) He's an upholsterer at Aston Martin so ain't short of bits...
LJ why you been a poof for? I rode home at 1 on Sunday 2 yesterday. Be hardcore. Last night though, I formed Ice patches on my knees and jacket

Calling a car-trimmer at Aston Martin an 'upholsterer' is a bit of an insult. Upholsterers are rag-tackers who recover flea-ridden sofas. A car-trimmer is an artist - a person capable of creating wonderful things.
(Guess who's a car-trimmer by trade)

Here is end result, doesn't look as bad as i thought.
Please excuse my messy garage lol
