For a curvy gixxer front end swap. Don't know if it's any good for a pointy.

Got all these bits. Ideally all sold together.

Collect from Staines, SE1 or Soho on a Friday night. Postage will be a fortune so collection only.

Most of it came from another forum member so questions are not a problem.

SRAD Top yoke. Needed if you want to keep your steering lock. Just needs a quick respray.

Looking for £200 or best sensible offer over £175 before Friday 22/02. All going on eBay after that. I'll chuck in the K1 600 front mudguard as well.

All you need to complete the front end swap is a K1 wheel and calipers/discs.

PM me.

EDIT: Now Sold!!

Whats the difference between Sv forks and these?

Better quality, finish, wider, more adjustment.

Generally much better than the budget forks on the SV. It's why so many people do the swap.

And the extra weight of the USD setup!

I really like the idea of this, looks standard to the untrained eye. I guess the internals are totally different (better) to? I rode my mates K2 600 and the suspension felt so much better than the SV!

Plus you get better brakes too, what would it take to fit these to a pointy?

im not sure about the RWU front ends but i just bought a gsxr750 k5 front end for my pointy and it bolted straight on in about 5mins!!!i didnt need 2 change anything at all.

1 thing you would have 2 try and sort out tho would be the steering lock/barrel cause on the pointys its slightly 2 the right hand side this gixer 600 is centre like the curvy sv i dont think it will just go straight on apart from that the rest may be alright 2 go on!;)

You would just need to get the K1 top yoke. Lots on eBay.

I think with SRAD yokes you keep the steering lock etc.

As for internals, SV is damper rod, gixxer is cartridge, they're miles apart in terms of performance.

As J666 said, get a K1-K3 GSXR 600 Top yoke and away you go.

Will bolt on.

Can't remember what the top yoke of the pointy looks like but they are either central or offset - I think they are offset, in which case the K Series top yoke will work.

Add a front wheel and brakes (free mudguard I think) and you bike will feel amazing,

Do it! I've done it on a couple SV's now and wouldn't go back!

aye that looks prteey much the same as the pointy top yoke so that top yoke on your front end will probley mean that the front will go straight on 2 a pointy sv.;)

If you wanted to fit it to a curvy then you could probably use SRAD 600 yokes.

if its being fitted 2 a curvy why can the yokes thats in the sale not be used???
