Following on from this thread (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?p=1422629#post1422629). Does anyone else fancy going to see Hayseed Dixie (http://www.hayseed-dixie.com/tastingroom.html) at The Point in Cardiff on Wednesday 19th March?

Hmm 300 mile round trip on a school night.

Might not be ideal.

Would love to but I'm going to see a little known band called Velvet Revolver that night :) (you may have heard of their guitarist slosh? slush? ...something like that)

The website of the venue says that the doors open at 7:30pm and it seems that there will be a support act. You could email/phone (http://www.thepointcardiffbay.com/contact.html)the venue and see if they could give you a rough idea of times.

You mean Slash, of Guns n Roses fame.

Only song I've heard of Velvet Revolver was 'Slither' on Kerrang. Really great song, infinitely better the Hayseed Dixie song that ambushed my ears.

Velvet Revolver's lead singer needs to eat more though judging by the 'Slither' video.

Of course!
The daddio!

If you haven't listened to them yet, kill yourself now. I mean it. Go to Bridgend, take a rope.

or possibly have a look on youtube if Pakistan hasn't blocked it. Any song will do (don't mistake that for 'any dream will do', it was a statement; not a song title;))

Friend of mini in the US managed The Stone Temple Pilots until they go signed, so knows Scot Weiland fairly well.

So, could go if I wanted - and probably score Backstage Passes - only problem is, when they are in London, I am in Bristol.....

However looks like I may see Hayseed Dixie in Cambridge on the 4th :)
