View Full Version : Easter Egg Run
Ok - i want names of those who are up for this and intend going
This years challenge is how many normal sized eater eggs can you fit on your bike - without melting them - and without using bags/cargo nets! - I'll donate a prize for the most
Rules are - there ain't any - and my decision is final!
what do you think???
apart from that we shall we meet beforehand and what time??
what time was it last year??

Hmm, not sure I'll get any eggs on my bike......my 9 year odl is seriously considering coming with me on the run as pillion this year.......so eggs in the rucksack...not on the bike....
I also need to juggle another role in all this potetenially.......as the band I'm in may well be playing at the after run 'entertainments'. Not sure where I'm gonna stick the bass, the amp and the speakers though.....hmmm, maybe under a cargo net on the pillion seat and the wee fella can hang on to that????:smt035

OK last year we did this:
Run starts at 12.30 meet as PC World Carpark at 10.30 to join the line up at 11. We will leave the car park at 11 If you are not there - tough
But since "everything is up in the air" other than starting at the SECC, we don't know when to start etc. The PC World car park was a good meeting place though.
And YES - I'll go!

I'm about 50/50, I might end up using the bank holiday to go up to the Islands but if not I'll be there.

I've been through 2 threads on the easter egg run and not one mention of the actual date!
Its like the AR08 stuff - you have to go through 25 threads and polls to find the venue and the date.

Eastie meeting point will I assume be the Maybury as usual- though that'll depend on numbers, it might make more sense just to have everyone meet up at Harthill like we did last time, and cut out the maybury stop?
