At first I thought the ZX6 rider was just a talentless fool, then I read the opening properly and realised it was 33hp restricted ;)
Oh man 33hp restrictors suck behind don't they!! Which poor saps on here have a restricted bike?!!? ... A bike should NEVER be beaten away from the lights ... (unless the car cost £100k+ ;))

It does suck when you are racing someone off the lights. But any twisty road and nobody thinks my bike is 33bhp. Mine comes off in september
You mean, some machines are restricted!!!
LMAO...
I tend not to race people to be honest, I burned up a couple of local chavs in their Novas off the traffic lights because i was feeling like it, but in general I dont.
Oh, and that 125 with L plates that pulled up beside me at the lights waiting to go onto the roundabout, i heard him revving all the way down the road to my side. Horrible noise it was. He sat there revving it as it turned to orange, and I was round and off the 3rd exit before he had a chance to blink :D
Interesting comments about the video (on youtube, not here).
What a well informed, articulate, literate discussion. ;)

No, but it is better to have a proper <=33hp bike, than a strangling a >33hp bike!! ;) Its only people being http://planetsmilies.net/person-smiley-1207.gif that make them get a bigger bike and then restrict it ;)

33hp will suck because of one of the following......either you are a talentless gimp, have a ickle one or put slices of cucumber over your eyes at night :p ;)
I love my 22hp bike.....well can't even call it a bike mind  hehe and yep, does surprise a few bikes....then again, perhaps I've got a big one
Ben
Ed was spot on ;)
I think the SV is a good bike restricted, still has a decent amount of grunt.

I have had the restriction for 2 years and yea it sucked a bit when it couldnt top 105MPH... not that you need to too often mind. Ill tell you what though it makes you feel great when you out brake and out corner a gixxer (etc) :D.
Take advantage and get practicing in the corners... Thats where the most fun is anyway IMO.

Granted, to be beaten by pretty ordinary car when you are on a 33bhp bike does baffle the mind
Mind you, its an inline 4, which make crap restricted bikes...no bottom end.
I'll beat most cars off the line, but the faster ones need some concentration. 33 bhp aint so bad, I'm having a great time on my bike :D

I would be alot worse off trying to commute on an aprilia RS125 than on my restricted SV ;)
I'll take the restricted bike over an unrestricted, 33bhp (or less) bike any time :smt054
Matt
Ive been having lots of fun with 33bhp recently :) got a thumbs up from a gixxer at traffic lights- he frowned at me when he saw i pulled up beside him and i shouted restricted but then got a thumbs up ;)
- he frowned at me
Wasn't he wearing a helmet ?

33bhp isn't THAT slow off the lights, then again I wouldn't expect a sportsbike to be very nice restricted.

I love my restricted SV... I beat most cars offf the line... Tbh either that Kwak on the you tube was'nt hitting the power bands properly or that car had more done to it than what meets the eye. Ive got a year n 7 months left.
Seem to remember seeing that particular car before. I think its a pretty special machine (as can be heard by the exhaust note) It revs to something rediculous and is over 430bhp...against a restricted zx, I would say the bike didnt do too badly
