View Full Version : Carver One tilting car
I was out riding on Saturday (Guildford>Steve Jordan's>Boxhill>Ranmore Common>Ripley>Woking) I was having fun keeping up with an R32 from Ripley to Woking wondering which should be faster in the twisties a car or a motorbike when I saw one of these up ahead.

So I had to follow it http://www.wvam.org.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif spoke to the guy at the Byfleet traffic lights who said he had given up motorbikes as they were too dangerous. Looked like a happy medium apart from not being able to filter - which brought a smile back to my face at overtaking the queue at the temporary traffic lights.
I didn't get to ask him if the IAM sticker displayed was for bikes or cars.
expensive new at £32K but here's a cheap one! http://www.gumtree.com/london/80/20266080.html

"0-60mph in 8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 115 mph"...it also looks crap. :)
Still an interesting concept though.
Pretty neat, glad crazy stuff like this still gets built
Meh, if I had to have a tilting 3 wheeler I'd have one of these.

"0-60mph in 8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 115 mph".so not bad for a car then, especially one with a 660 cc engine getting 45mpg..it also looks crap. :)Oh , becasuse a Ford Focus is just sooooo interesting in comparison to this?

The standard ones are a bit tame, but the RS is nice. I've had a hankering for one for a while now. I thought it would go away, but it hasn't!

+ R6 are the best(except for maybe the 2007 R1 in white/black/red.)
Not like that green bogey you have. ;)

I saw one at a Beaulieu show, and they have a learn gauge in them, so more you lean it the more into the red it goes. The guy said you find people trying yo get it to lean more and more into the red
I have had my Carver One nearly 10 years now and still puts a smile on my face everytime I go out in her

So it's even older than this thread :p
er... can I have a go?
I am hoping to get some carvers to car events to raise money for charity in return for a ride in one, but not sure the insurance will let you have a go ;-))
