View Full Version : What end can? Not SV :(
Got a new (to me) bike but it still has the original exhaust. So....what shape/size should I go for? These are a few pics CCC emailed to me.
Firstly, this is the new beast :)

Option 1:

Option 2:

Option 3:

Or any other ideas? I don't want to spend a fortune about £200-£250ish.
Cheers,
Andy

I like option 2 the best.
Just realised you could think option 1 was 1st or 2nd pic. You mean the triangular one thats not on a bike?
option 1 here for me. Then option 2.

yeap the triangular one, picked it as it is different from most of the round/oval ones. same reason I got a triangular one.

The first one looks odd to me doesnt suit the bike. I'd go for the third carbon fibre one looks good!
You're not helping guys, thats one vote for each !!!!!!!!! :)

Ooh on an IL4 it has to be Akra or Yoshi. Failing that Arrow. :)

option 1...or if your having trouble deciding, why not go on utube and look for zx6r exhaust clips then you can listen to various makes and styles.HTH

I got a Blueflame S/S oval on my 6R.. I wish I had gone for titanium now, think it suits the bike better..

I can't believe your brother swapped that for your SV. I assumed it must be a dog, but it looks in good nick! :)

I see the frame has been painted and the tank is without the decals.. Has it seen some action? I do like the black frame tho !
I've done all the checks on it and as far as I can tell the previous owner (to my brother) has just modded it a bit. TBH the black frame combined with the lack of tank decals sort of rings alarm bells but I can't find evidence of anything suspicious. The guy who brother bought it from got rid of it as he had cancer and wanted to splash out on a rsvr or something. I quite like the carbon colour so it matches the frame etc but bro had one on a bandit and it went a bit yellow after a year or so, anyone else had this?

Option 2 - no contest.
I'm coming around to option two now a bit shorter than normal but not completely stubby, say about 30cm long? I was thinking stainless too so it matches the link pipe??? HELP!!!!!!! :)

Yoshi always comes first. ;)
Personally, I wouldn't buy a CCC can, their quality doesn't exactly inspire me to spend money with them. I'm not overly keen on Blueflame either. At some point in the future I am pretty sure my SV will be acquiring an Akrapovic or Yoshi can to replace the Scorpion it had when I bought the bike.
