Fitting my new front discs and brake pads?

I get back from Barcelona on Saturday afternoon so if anyone fancies a little challenge then feel free.

If not I may end up with wonky wheels! :D

Not sure if I'm going to be working or not at the moment :(

Cheers anyway mate. I'm officially away from tomorrow until Saturday in Barcelona working. :(

But what the actually equates to is I only have to attend a conference on Thursday (all day though) and the rest of the time is a jolly and paid for by the company. I also get to take Nicki so we both get fed and watered and put up for free. Hoorah.

My currnent discs are a bit dodgy, they were straightened but now there is a knocking noise at a certain part of the disc so it's best to be safe than on the deck.

I thought you said they were ok?

Does the hornet have a centre stand?

I thought they were okay but every now and again I get a knocking noise/feel from the front end. I am pretty sure it's the rivets moving about. Better to replace the lot than risk a high speed issue methinks.

No centre stand but I do have an Abba stand.

What sort of time are you thinking about on saturday, there may be an available slot at DDs bike servicing ;)

So, how do you change discs? I know the front wheel comes off but other than that........?

I was told that I should get someone to hold on the front brake while I undo the axle and bolts on the disc? Sounds a bit dodge to me. Looking to get my new Galfer discs on tomorrow at some point. Wooooh!
