2wheeljunkies offered the best full body kit for the SV, unfortunately they are out of business now. I have seen one from Kompo-tech and i think it is well made and good quality, but it could be better but then I have the 2wheeljunkies one so I may be biased!

JHS do one that looks pretty nice. I have one in my garage ready to fit in the next week.

These two are from Kompo-tech's (you didn't state which you got, curvy/pointy?) and to be honest they aren't that much better than kgcycles.

JHS racing do a fantastic set for the pointys, its race derived but you can convert it to road!!!

im looking for a full fairing set, uppers and lowers, but not the stock upper fairings. Im not to fond of the gapeing hole in the side of the stock upper fairings, and none of the lower farings that go with the stock upper fairings seem to match well. 99-02

Ah... yeah, you would want a 2wheeljunkies one as they aslo have the smaller fairing holes. Unfortunately they have gone out of business and there aren't many kits bought in the UK as they were quite expensive, best thing to do is post an ad and hope that someone is willing to sell one (they are very rare).

Anyone tried Kompotech stuff and knows what the quality is like? Are the lowers any good and does anyone know if they'd go with the original uppers. They seem pretty cheap.

Gavin
My neighbour has the so called GSXR style front mudguard on his Curvy, I fitted it prior to painting and the quality is good. I only had one problem and that was with there being to much resin on the inside where the mounting bracket/plate would sit against, quick whirl with the dremel and it was cured.
As for the lower faiings, no sorry you have to buy the complete set for either curvy/pointy. The upper fairing they make goes further down than standard so the lower will only reach these;

They do ship quickly and as for price they can be good, btu thats usually on the rarer items such as full road bodywork. 2wheeljunkies are by far the best full fairing kit ever made for the curvy SV, similar in design but the fairing holes where smaller and the overall design and flow of the fairing was much better. Unfortunately 2wheeljunkies are nolonger in business and very few kits were sold over here in the UK so finding a secondhand one would be very very very hard.

How about Roca/S2 Concept lowers?
Looks identical to the crappy powerbronze lowers, and very expensive too if they are copies just for colour matching!
Yes Skidmark stuff is of good quality from what I have seen now and in the past, they don't make a full fairing set like 2wheeljunkies did for the SV650 though.
Yeah, couldn't comment on the quality as we've not got them. We do have a Roca bellypan which is a lovely bit of kit, but that's no guarantee. We hated our Powerbronze bellypan but love the screen:D

Skdmarx look pretty good for the money ten if the quality is decent. Lowers from them are only £115 from what I can see. Seems like good value although I suppose they'd still need painted.
