Have just got back from seeing this film and can safely say its flippin' AMAZING! :notworthy::smt026:smt026:smt026:smt026:smt026 :notworthy:

I was on the edge of my seat for most of it and it's been a long long time since I've come out of the cinema that impressed. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend you go forth and bask in its monstrous glory :D

From what I've heard I don't think any other film comes close!

I think I might go and see Cloverfield tomorrow :D

I've not seen Rambo, might see that too

P.S. who's got the lead role as that may sway my decision to go see it

I'm hoping to see it next week. Need something that will have me on the edge of my seat. We watched AVP Requiem a couple of nights ago, and I didn't jump once! Unheard of for me and Alien films:)

You'll jump at this! Saw the trailer for AVP, looked a wee bit tame tbh...but saying that I jump at owt (just ask YC ) and I have yet to see any of the Alien films so I may stand corrected :)

I'm still buzzing about it!!! :-D:-D:D

I saw it a couple of weeks ago and I loved it too. I would describe it as a cross between Godzilla, 28 weeks, Blair Witch and the one with the big tidal wave but probably better than them all. Very good indeedy.

I really enjoyed it too. Most excellent and it keeps you guessing at what the hell is going on. People react a lot like what they would if it really did happen. Well done.

A plus (for us that like women) there is plenty to look at! :p

Nope, just 80 minutes looking at my watch wishing I was ironing or cleaning windows or something mildly interesting.

Ah, I couldn't remember if a thread had already been put up about it, sorry K! Each to their own, I don't think the big monster was particularly scary but those "dog-sized parasitic arthropods" (as wikipedia called them) were 'orrid, don't like spidery things with many legs lol! (not referring to your Spider of course ;))

Yeah - they were visually more impressive, but squeaked and gurgled like something off Cartoon Network!

As for my Spider - I know he's only got 4 legs, but to watch him go hareing about and attempting corners at high speed - I think he thinks the has 8 legs...

... and he doesn't know how any of them work or which order he should use them in!
