Pre load adjusters were standard on k2 curveys and a lot have people have fitted them to the earlier ones as well
yeah just read up. so what differances do they make adjusting wise as ive never really played with my set up so to speak. all i know is the front ends like a pogo stick

just adds pre load, if your's is very pogoy you might want to think about changing the oil in the forks

Used to set preload (i.e sag with the rider on) will not adjust stiffness or damping, i.e the main pogo contributors, set so when you're sat on the bike the suspension still has 2/3 -3/4 of its travel left (depending on opinion etc)
If you do start adjusting it, then only do it in small amounts and use roads you know to get the feel. I put the adjusters on my K1... easy mod.
