day 1 , bimble up to Skye in post Big ridout stupor
day 2 , head up to Cape wrath and camp just off the beach
day 3 , early start and head to John o groats then head south to inverness
day 4 , ride down to peterhead and camp at bullers of buchan
day 5 , head south and just get as far as I fancy

No bother. Skye's a big place mind, don't leave yourself too much to do and end up chasing the fading light...

What a day! Get an early start. Sensational! I am salivating at the very prospect...

JO'G to Inversnecky is like the M6 compared to every other road you'll have been on so far on this itinerary so that's easy enough but not too exciting. Mind you, everything else is going to seem dull after the days just passed. In life too, not just on the road!

Peterhead? Seriously? Um, OK...

If you're heading south, Peterhead is a rubbish place to start from!
Unless you're on a promise I'd rip up day 4 and start again. Maybe head for Pitlochry via Braemar? It's a much better ride and you're much better placed to point it south and make real progress home on day 5. My 2p anyway.
Whichever way you slice it up though, have fun and don't forget the midgie repellant!
Cheers Tiger, think what I might do is spend more time on Skye and head for for home from inverness, with a quick detour up to Kinloss to my old camp and then over the moor via granton on spey through to aviemore and stop with family in Bellshill on the way home, mind its a way off yet so anything could happen.
cheers
