Hey all
New to the forum as i'm currently looking for an SV650s...
Had a CB500 for a few years (great bike), but sold it over a year ago...the frustration of not owning a bike is getting to me...that, and getting the train every day is driving me clinically insane...
I'm based in Birmingham mostly, sometimes near Crewe, and sometimes in Cheltenham...once I find myself a suitable steed i'll definately be up for ride outs and meets etc. Anywhere the forum generally meet on a weekly/monthly basis?
Hope to see some of you soon!
Keith

Welcome to the zoo.

And before you hear all the lies let me tell you the turth. Naked, curvey blue ones are thefatest and the best SVs suzuki ever made.

Hey thanks for all the replies, where do the border patrol meets happen?
I'm after a pointy...apologies spiderman...and jum jum! :P i'm sure the curvey blue ones are the fastest however...
Yeah i've been browsing the for sale section, some good options around. Got a decent quote from Suzuki, 4,299 for an 07 new 650S...good price if you can afford it I guess!
Anyone got any tips for what I should look for in an older model, 03 or 04? SVs have any areas which could be a potential problem?
Cheers!

Welcome mate. Points are the best! If you haggle with your suzuki dealer some more you might be able to get them to drop for ?3999 for a half faired 07 model because I was offered that (but simply used that as a haggling point for K8 sport)

That with the fact they should offer you 0% finance and a ?1 deposit should make it more worthwhile than a second hand bike (at least down here they mostly go for around ?3299 or there abouts from a dealer for a resonable one)

Let us know what you decide :)
