Good choice sir. An evil-handling pig of a bike, but glorious fun. Stick an open can on it and it'll make a right racket too.

Nice! :)

My dad said i was a fool to buy another bike before i could ride it, but i reckon its god motivation. For the next few weeks expect to spend lots of time sitting on/polishing it.

She is a big beast.
Low mileage, and really good condition for the age- 2000, W reg. All completely standard too, except for the anodised bars.

Should have her tuesday, though won't be able to ride it for a few weeks.
Sat on it earlier was really comfortable. Handlebars on it are like wings- there so wide! Keep looking at a few bits that I wanna get for it too!

If you're not popping wheelies in a months time at the shire horse, then you're a pussy! :p;)

P.S. Enjoy the new rear tyre every week experience. :)

Awesome. That means you'll be able now to double book yourself at the Shire on Tuesdays. At least when the warm weather gets back.

All us lot and the Blandit owners lot as well. You got a whole lot of chrome bits to tack on to it before you'll be acceptable into the fold though

Nice one James.. Looks a bit of a beast!

One of my instructors had one of these, sounded lovely when he went flying past to get to the front of the group..

How is the foot now, back to normal size?

Think I'll stear clear of sticking loads of bits on chrome onto it...

Foots still swollen, leg is as well. Which I never really noticed before- right leg is massive compared to the left! lol.

Going back to have some x-rays on Tues 11th, was told last tuesday when I was in hospital that everything seems fine, and I seem to be healing pretty quickly. So hopefully, there'll be a decent amount on bone growth showing on the x-rays.
So then I can get rid of at least one crutch hopefully, and start putting some more weight onto the other leg.

When I originally went into hospital they said about 12 weeks for it to fully heal. Though after speaking to the doctor last time I was in, he said that was a pessamistic time frame. So hopefully should be a bit quicker than that to fully heal.
It's been pretty much 5 weeks since it happened.
(hoping begining of April to be able to ride again :) )
