For sale: up-and-over garage door locks

I've had these installed for around 4 months on my garage, only replacing since I've switched from 1 pair to 2 pairs of locks and I wanted them keyed the same so I had to buy 4 new locks instead of just 2.

Also as a result of that I only replaced the main lock part on my door, so all the componentry is new - just the main lock part has been used.

Any takers?

How do they fit? Do you go into the ground, or into the door frame? Might not be a bad idea for us to replace the locks on ours, it's kind of broken...

I fitted mine on the door itself, that's the method shown. You could fit them horizontally (so the bolts go horizontally into the frame) or vertically (so they go into the ground) but doing it vertically you might find the lock covers from the outside hang incorrectly, or you'd have to find a way to fix them on without rivets. Planning on visiting London soon then? ;)

Haha, yeah just wanted to get rid :D

Will bring them to work tomorrow so they're there when you want to pick them up - I work in Cabot Square btw.

When did you want to get them? I'm probably (TBC) out of the office on tues/wed, and off on holiday on friday (so not in office then either) and away all of next week. Tomorrow's probably the best guaranteed day TBH, as I may need to be off Thursday too (builders doing stuff at home, and not sure how many days they need!).
