I'm probably making a huge mistake but I've decided to sell the SV when my insurance runs out on the 1st of April (This is not an early April fool joke).

It's on 12140 miles at the moment but I'll still be riding it until my insurance runs out.

I'm inherently lazy so I don't really want to go through the hassle of removing stuff and finding out postage etc. So not at the moment, but watch this space if I don't get any offers in the next fortnight.

My advice would be to do just that. Takes a bit of effort, but you are more likely to get the price you want. Take everything off, sell it separately and then discount the bike accordingly.

Not to derail too much, but I found that the majority of people viewing my SV when I sold it were newbies who either didn't have any understanding of the mods I had made and their value or didn't care because they had seen a cheaper one up the road and wanted to see if i'd take a rubbish offer

Why are you showing this photo? It looks like your downpipe is almost rusted through. which it clearly isn't.

edited first post. Forgot to say it has a Datatool S3 alarm/immobiliser and Alphadot marking.

Ok, instead of trying not to sell the bike with some half hearted attempt on this forum, whilst trying to convince myself I want to sell her. A flawed decision really as 99.9% of members have or have had a SV. :rolleyes:
