Hi Everybody

Its been a while since I have been on the site, and I am posting as I have finally decided to sell my beloved SV. I don't really want to, but I cannot justify keeping her.

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to ride the SV of late, and its a shame to leave her in the garage getting dusty, especially as summer is not that far away.

The bike has some nice mods such as bright white bulbs, suzuki seat cowl & hugger, Hamicad tail tidy, Chewy's mirror extenders, JHS crash bungs, goodridge braided brake hoses, metisse grills, BMC air filter and TEKA re-map carried out at JHS Racing. JHS also dynoed the bike afterwards and it gave a very healthy 109 bhp and 69ftlb of torque.

The chain, sprockets, tyres and pads have plenty of life left in them. In the last 8 months I have only ridden the bike to the MOT centre and back.

Its got FSH, is MOTed until September 2008, and taxed until August 2008.

The bike has a datatool alarm/immobiliser (2 x alarm fobs), and alphadot.

I also have a couple of other goodies that will come with the bike, which are Chewy's LED kit for the digital clock & speedo, and a GSXR1000 rear shock, along with all the standard bits.

I can't justify letting the bike sit idle any longer, so its got to go.

Only bad points I can think of is that the rear shock spring is discoloured as a rear exhaust gasket perished, but that has been replaced. The shock still works fine, but I like the bike to look nice which is why I bought the GSXR shock, but as I haven't ridden the bike lately, I haven't made the effort to fit it. Only other downside is the exhaust header has gone brown. I have polished it in the past, but all the SV's do it.

I am looking for £3250 ono

If the offer is right, I'll even throw in an Abba stand and adaptor worth nearly £100!

I've been to a couple of the SV meets in Battlesbridge, a couple of sunday runs and a run down to Brighton and met some great people from the forum, and have thoroughly enjoyed the SV crowd. If the bike does not go to someone on here, I will be sure the owner gets on here.

My image file sizes are too big to be uploaded, but you can see the pics here:

All the best
