Had a natter to a ol'guy from east kilbride on the train last year as we were going into the BSB "Superbikes In The Square " thing. He pulls out some big photies he has got, to get signed by the riders "while he is working". Those amazing closeups of the bikes in action you see in the mags. Turns out he took them! He is a FIM photographer. MGP/WSB/BSB/RoadRacing. Travels the world doing it, and talking to him he was a full-on bike nut, enthusiastic as feck.Insisting we must go to OliversMount at Scarborough for the racing (he had amazing pictures of McGuiness). Very cool fella.
Now thats a dream job,eh?:)
Cracking photies there, can't decide whit one I like best! Good luck. Will listen out for your name on saturday.:)
good luck for the competition. pics are great

That's an easy one for me - No2. But being picky, I'd like to see more rimlighting around the tail and mirror. Of course the print might show it off much better.
Good luck,
Garry;)
Getting to the final seems to have been one hell of an achievement in itself - well done - and best of luck with the competition...
... as for the pics - I would perfer the first one...
... if it was a curvy SV. ;)

If you really want to win mcn photo of the year do what they do in the 'rag' they print.
Put it on the front page with 'exclusive' next to it then explain its an artists impression mock up in the actual story.
Down grade the amount of pixels used and make it look 'blocky'
or blur it that much you can't make it what it is and call it a 'spy shot'
lol...............
Apart from that nice pics and the best of luck!
Ad,
Hey they are really great. Good luck. I wont be there till Sunday but sure we will hear how you get on.

I don't know who won, but having checked out the board at the show it's no disgrace to lose, the standard was absolutely fantastic... The one with the SV and the blurred car lights got a lot of attention while I was there.
