Following on from an outbreak of 'Should I' threads......

It is my 30th tomorrow, should I accept it or forever stay in my twenties?
is there any advantage to breaking into the next decade?

Cheaper insurance. ;)

Wait till you're pushing 40 - then you look back fondly on pushing 30.

Depends, I turned thirty and have had even more fun since, but then I am rather dirty.

30... that's nowt... Go for it...

I still look in the mirror and expect a 17 year old to look back...replace the 1 with a 5 and that's the real score

Biology means that we must all grow older, but there's nothing to say that we must all grow up!

Several years ago, I was on 12hr night shift on my 30th birthday and never gave it a second thought. 'Tis only a number.

I ended up opening the cards/presents so I guess I have done it, best one is a supercar day at Donington and an Elise keyring for when I eventually get mine.
Also went and got loads of cakes for the office from the bakery and now sat here wondering if I should make a start as the Italians are always notoriously late in the morning. Start on the cakes that is, not work.

Just to make sure I can still hack it I will have a biking weekend, although I am sure a lack of practise rather than age will let me down.
Satuday: the thou up round Garda
Sunday: mountain biking in the Appenines around Modena.

I read in a mag a while that its alright for all the girls turning 30 as you are meant to be in your 'prime' during the 30s (confident, attractive, experienced etc) its us blokes that have prematurely aged ourselves by binge eating, drinking, biking etc... that really do have to worry about it.

Other than pushing a bit hard out jogging last night I dont feel a great deal different, I think tomorrow may be worse as a few beers will be sunk tonight.
