I did, I went as fast as possible ... managed to get through the tills before her, all was going well ... it was only when I was loading my rucksack in the lobby that she strolled past ... hopped on her bike and shot off!!! Curse my rucksack!! :smt013

Where I was rushing to beat her, I didn't see if she had any nice food in her basket .. to be fair, she might have won me over if I had had a look in her basket and realised she must have a fridge full of goodies back home!! :lol:

To be fair, what makes it worse is that I intended to burn her off at the lights, but more subtly than sitting there head over the front revving it up ;) .. the plan was to sit there at the red lights nonchalantly; hands even off the bars n-everything .. watching the other set of lights to see when my set are about to change and then time it perfectly to put hands back on bars in an orderly manner, click in gear and then pull off just as the lights changed to green .. Evidently my timing was slightly off or she jumped the lights as she was off the line before I had even clicked it in gear!! :D That CB1300 shifted too – even with her phat 4ss on it!! :shock:

As for getting beaten shopping .. quite frankly again I was out of the shop, so had got complacent again … I should know better than that … ALWAYS keep it flat out until ‘the line’ ALWAYS!!! … snatched defeat in the jaws of victory again! :D
