View Full Version : Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres
Desperately need some tyres for the Thou
Been offered the above front and rear ride in/ride out for £215 plus a cashback voucher for £30 so works out at £185.
It thought this was a good deal?
Anyone used them?
What does the might .org reckon?
They're the replacement for the diablos aren't they? I've got diablos and love them, if these are similar, they'll be a great tyre.
My diablos were 150quid and it was 15 quid to get them fitted, so for a newer tyre i'd guess that isn't too bad with the 30quid cashback.
I was expecting to pay more for the thou as they are bigger tyres, 120/70 front and 180/55 rear.

Yeah, they are good. It depends what you are looking for, and unfortunately it tends to rage into a debate about what tyre is best.
They are good tyres, well all tyres are nowadays apart from the D220's that is.
I've got them on my Daytona and I think they're fine. A hell of a lot better than the Dragon Supercorsas I originally had. DOne a trackday and couldn't fault them one bit. Quick warm up too. Apparently though they're designed so that they have to be changed in pairs as opposed to the norm. They reckon about 4 or 5 thousand miles.
I just heard about the £30 cashback and apparently I should be able to get it too! Lovely.

You should be able to get your choice of tyre fitted for under ?200. I just had BT021s fitted and they are amazing! They didn't feel any worse than BT014s in the dry and were far better on wet greasy roads. I was pushing pretty hard yesterday and they only 'gave' when i went over some horse crap(damn horses, dropping it on blind bends). :)
So in summary if you want them, then thats an ok price, but in the same breath you should be able to pick any tyre you want for that money.
