I realise this one clashes with Knockhill - Scottish Championship Bike Racing,
but I know they would like as many there as possible ;)

That's a top quality burger van. I don't know where any of these places are apart from Leven, is that a long run or a tootle around leven?

The Victoria is in Kirkcaldy, Queen Margaret is in Dunfermline and Rachael house is in Kinross.
So it's a wee tour of Fife

Ah, that sounds pretty cool then, I like that. Plus, I'd never make it to Knockhill till the afternoon anyway  Might give this one a shot...

Who is going to this and will you be meeting up some where first. I plan on going, never been to any thing like this before, my mate said he fancied it as well so that would be two extra SV's to add to the numbers. We are both new to biking though so don’t want to be holding people up with our novice slowness.
would have like to do this as its a few of my old haunts - not the hospitals and hospice. but i wont have a new chain for 10-14 days. damn italian rare stuff

It's a slow ride edmurrgr, there will be bikes and trikes of all shapes and sizes and lots of different riders from just past CBT to very experienced instructors ;).

Thinking about it... I need to service the thing this weekend but I can do that on the saturday, probably. But I'm not sure if I'll be making it just yet.

Hoping for reasonable weather for this. I'm working Saturday and hopefully NOT Sunday. It would be a shame not to be able to participate.

So it's the night before.....
.....anyone decided if they're going yet. I'm still up for it - just off to check the forecast but I'm thinking it'll not be that bad.
How about a meet? - Rosyth?

Nah, I had a quiet weekend so I've torn the bike down a bit, I could go but it's a bit deficient on a few minor features like clocks, front indicators, a headlight... Well, everything forward of the top yoke really

"i can categorically state
the egg run will not be cancelled
as some people will still come including myself
the main roads will be fine as they have been heavily gritted
hopefully it will stop snowing sometime soon or at least before 10 as forecast
either way i wouldnt ask anyone to take a bike out if they arent confident
we have collected lots of money already and cant back out now
if you want to bring a car i shant complain at all
also the night out goes ahead as bands are paid for so even if you dont go to the run please come to the methil club as planned
hope to see you all today sometime
buffet ready and has to be eaten "
This is a quote from the kingdom bikers site. The snow is coming down thick and fast in Fife and I personally wont be taking the bike out. But like Mitch has said the run will go ahead as planned even if it is in cars ;)
snow???? its beautiful over here not even any snow on hills

Well folks,
I was up and ready to make a move, but after a quick check of the motorway CCTV and a call to the organisers, was told not to travel from as far for it. "The weather here is *******" or words to that effect. I was also told that the whole thing would proceed as planned.
Shame that. I'd wanted to help boost the numbers & monies.
Maybe next year.
Garry;)

Thanks for sharing those.
I didn't go on the run but went along later on to the meet to see how everyone got on, Cold and tired but happy was the majority of replies ;).
So far they have calculated around ?1700 for charity which is brilliant :D

Glad you had a good time folks. Any chance of seeing those pics a bit bigger - they are really small on my screen.
Ended up looking after the good ladys' niece and nephew for the day, so enjoyed some 10-pin bowling.
Garry;)

Afraid they are that size for people viewing on smaller screens, there are a few more (better ones) on Kindom Bikers ;)

I wimped out of this one.
If you all went up the M90 in convoy then I spotted you when I was driving over the motorway on the Kingseat road.
That's a good some of money that has been raised. Well done.
If you all went up the M90 in convoy ....
We did, was a change of route due to the roads being a bit iffy and not having enough marshals for the complete route :( Meant we had to get ahead after the group passed, no real fun when people forgot what their mirrors were for
