Well, with the Honda being out of action at the moment, I have been forced to bring the SV out of retirement earlier than expected. I did all the wiring today so now have lights indicators and instruments. All the brackets and the headlight still needs sorting and painted but at least it's all doing the job. I still have to strip the callipers down as they are a bit seized. :oops: Also need to find a new bracket for the horn and hopefully a new drop of petrol will make it run better than it at the moment. Finally I need a new front hoop but can't afford it so going to run the existing one until pay day. So all things being equal, I could still actually be there.

Bike got taxed so rode it to work this morning. Damn what a difference it is riding with clipons. I had all but forgot what it was like.

Felt like a different bike and will take a couple of days to get used to it. With clipons, there is much more input to the bars required to get it round corners.

Can still wheelie it though. :wink:

I'm on nights tonight so depends on how much work I "actually" have to do.
My shift means that I work every other Tuesday (1 days - 1 nights) so I think you should all change the Tuesday just to accomodate me.:rolleyes:
