What a great start to the weekend!!!!

My wife has just called to tell me that she has got a ?50 ticket for parking over her aunts driveway............terrific.

Worse still she phoned me whilst driving - I went mental!!!!

What to do?

The parking fine is ****ty :( They do that in nottingham, if you so much as have 1" of tyre on the pavement hanging off you drive then you get a fine for obstructing the pathway/cyclelane.

As for driving on the phone, I see people doing it everyday, some people are capable of doing more than just driving, some people arnt....if she isnt capable of doing more than 1 thing at a time have words lol.

Parking tickets probably get me more annoyed than anything in the world. I really support fining people for parking on double yellow, restricting traffic, things like that, but the sheer pedantry of some of the wardens nowadays, they ticket anyone at any opportunity, and have just lost sight of the original point of parking fines. I have had tickets for parking outside my house on a dead end, for my friend who's permit slipped half under the windscreen (still visible!) etc etc. Grrr.

I tell her almost every night about some plum on a phone not paying attention and nearly having me off - so she then goes and does it 5 mins after getting a ?50 fine and ruining my weekend!!!!

i let my mate leave 10mins early from work yesterday and he got £60 fine and 3 points for talking on his fone while driving.
