I own a pair of Ladystar Daytona boots (essential for getting my foot anywhere near the floor whilst riding) :(
Just over a month ago I purchased (on impulse) a pair of leathers RST's of which I tried on (without boots)..... you can see where it's going.
Decided to try all kit on today and guess what. ..... trousers are too long and I can't zip boots up
:smt027
Need to cange my hair colour !!!....... arrrgggghhhhhh

can't you get them taken up a bit, I know Sam got some leather trousers shortened a few years ago, wasn't as much as expected either.
Just a thought.
Cheers Mark.

lol... cheer up hun, we`ve all done stuff like that.
A couple of months ago i bought a new AGV Stealth basically because I "liked the look of it". I`ve found it extremely uncomfortable because the chin piece is quite wide and i must have a short neck cos when riding i can`t turn my head properly to the side as the helmet catches on my shoulder.
So today I had to buy another helmet!! The stealth has been worn about 6 times and has turned out to be a total waste of money :(

whats the harm in putting the boots under your trousers?? If you can't zip your boots up, then surely thats the answer....or are they toooooooooooooooooooooo long. Your lucky, I'm currently looking for some higher up the calf boots because my trousers ride up my legs and i get an inch gap between the two, its sooooo draughty

Cheers guys, I have just emailed DK where I bought them from hoping they wil feel sorry for me and exchange for the shorter leg version.
If not I may be taking your advice Rictus.
Defender I have no idea he ain't my man ;) seeing him tomorrow with any luck tho.
Dizzyblonde, the leather trousers taper into the ankle so have to go inside the boot, there is room at the top of the boot to put the bottom of the leg of the trousers in but they are just toooooo long and want to go lower in effect the leather wrinkles up, I cant zip the calf zip down and my boot zip wont zip .... I should have know this when I tried them on but I was too busy chatting LOL
Arrggghhhh LOL

AAAAArrrrgggghh why can't us girls ever get stuff that fits right, its why I don't wear leathers anymore. The only pants I can wear right with my bike is my draggin jeans, not too short not too long. I like you bought my current textiles without wearing my boots, but they felt and looked like they were going to do the job.....til I got on the bike and they did exactly the same as leathers
and another thing... I am far from fat, but why do I have 2 pairs of leather pants with zips that have burst??

Sounds like me with my Nolan lid which I really did love with its built in sun shade and flip front, although felt fine in the shop was actually too big after a few times of wearing the windblast was getting inside it and pulling my head back hurting my neck! the next size down was way too tight. So off I went and spent another couple of hundred on a Shoei  which fits perfectly!!
At least you may be able to get them changed or even altered Shell :)
im not gonna comment shell hahaha ;)
Oi, Stumpy!
Get yer legs stretched :D
Where are you gonna find leathers for an Oompah-Loompah?

Same here... it felt great in the shop but what I didn`t account for is that when riding i`m leaning quite far forward and thats where i have the problem. I like Shoei but bought another HJC as i`ve previously owned 2 and find them a perfect fit... the one i bought yesterday felt like a glove when i tried it on.

Whats the problem? I thought it was going to be the classic, "I bought trousers and forgot to bend zee knees" and ended up with halfmasts.
Do you not just put the leathers over your boots? (Jus'like Foggy n' BaBayliss?)
Do those Daytona ladystar boots make a big difference? I back-off all the pre-load, fit the Suzuki low seat and my missus still no-likey K3S.......?

Nah can't get leathers over the top of the Ladystar, just impossible, not unless I am missing something LOL.
And yes Stamasher, they are good, I had the lowered seat and the Ladystar and I now can touch the floor, I am not 5'6" but I struggled with just getting the tip toe on the floor, I would say the Daytona give me an extra 2inches, brilliant but expensive!
