View Full Version : Know anyone selling an SV?

A friend of mine has just got her restricted license and wants an SV. Not got a lot of money to spend so will consider a slightly cosmetically damaged one if the mechanicals are good.

Looking to spend 1,000 - 1,500 so should be able to get a tidy curvy or slightly scruffy pointy for that.

Needs to be in the Fleet / Guildford / Reading / Basingstoke area as I'll need to go with her and do not want to go all over the country looking at bikes.

Let me know what you have.

Cheers,
Mark

I'm guessing Law's may be a little out of her price range. However she is currently single so perhaps ........

I count 5 in the For Sale (http://forums.sv650.org/forumdisplay.php?f=113) section

I suggest you will do better there than spamming other parts of the board.

If a GM Mod feels this is an inappropriate thread, please remove it. If however a GM mod knows of someone with a bike for sale, let me know.

The post is fine Mark, after all you're just trying to find something local. The forsale section cover the whole org and like you say you don't really fancy travelling up to newcastle or something do you

I saw this one (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=106593) in Kingswood, Surrey in the For sale section just 500 quid over budget.

If she is single, I could be persuaded to lower my asking price... :smt112

Yeah, he called me a Knob-faced-knobster, I called him a double-knob-faced-knobster, for calling me a knob-faced-knobster when I am not a knob-faced-knobster, except that maybe I had kind of been a knob-faced-knobster.

As said, all sorted, in a knob-faced-knobster kind of way :)

No one.

I used the more socially elevated term of knob-faced-knobster.

Unlike you, who are a common oik type of knob faced knobster.

Its all in the hyphens you pikey chav.
