I have NEVER bought anything that costs a lot of money without seeing it in the flesh before, but I saw this on Ebay & thought "OOh that looks different & I like that"
I put a bid on it & guess what?............................... Yes it's now mine.

W reg 2000
10800 miles
Race can
Double Bubble Screen
"Paint" (It looks like its been built out of 2 different bikes, but I like it)
12 months MOT
All for ?1400 Which I thought was a bargain :)

Got to pick it up from Swansea one day this week if my Insurance cheque comes through.
I cant wait to get back on a bike again, just hope I can cope with a ride that far, if not, I'll have to camp at thae side of the road till the pain subsides :thumleft::smt037

Even got fairing stickers made up. Can't complain about the price for the mileage and condition. All it needs now are purple wheels.

Curvies seem to be holding their value then.

Seems expensive, especially as the mismatched plastics say to me that its been down the road. What are the consumables like? C/S and tyres? If they're new and its just had a full service then i guess its not a bad buy.

Have you looked at the price of curveys atm? It seems as though it's pointies are loosing money hand over fist.
I have been looking since I had my accident & you will be lucky to find a "CHEAP" Curvey.

To be honest a six year old bike that's bought mainly by newly qualified riders, I'd say you'd be hard put to find one that hasn't been down the road.:)

Another odd but nice touch is that it appears to have had the rear joint section repainted in blue.

Plus I don't think that they are Suzuki colours looking at them & they have gone to the trouble of having the decals colour matched which is a nice touch :)

Glad to hear you have rescued that bike from it's previous tasteless owners. Please rectify style crimes forthwith.

But curveys' can't transform into pointys'??

Hmm, can't say I really like it, sort of a court-jestery colour scheme. Hope it's at least mechanically spot on- if it is the price seems okay, although not particularly cheap (imo).

Mine hadn't until i parked it in the side of a van. :p

Also i have noticed the silly money that some people have been asking for curveys. Makes me laugh what some people will pay. :)

Of course you have done the right thing, its a Curvy!!!
Plus I don't think that they are Suzuki colours looking at them
Yeah they are OEM colours, the nice early blue and the horrible later yellow!

Hard to tell in the pic but it looks like the rear centre piece has been sprayed? Usually it's grey. So if that bit's been sprayed, maybe the rest has. It could be OEM blue or it could be a similiar respray.

Here's another couple of pics. I think that it has been resprayed. Also if you look at the fork legs, they still look in very good condition that's why I thought it must be a genuine bike.

Or genuine low mileage forks bolted on as a replacement???

Yeah the centre tail section has been sprayed blue to match the the rest of the bike (well half of it) as Northwind says, I would say the blue is genuine OEM colours but maybe the panels have been resprayed as they look in great condition (no sun fade). The hugger is a Suzuki one. As for the yellow that looks like the later OEM yellow, Pearl Lively Yellow I think. The lower fairings are the crappy powerbronze ones but other than that if the bike is genuine it was a good buy.
