I've got too many sets here and they're taking up room. I've just bought yet another set of MJKs and there's precious little room in my leathers wardrobe now
First are a pair of Nitro NLS20 1-piece leathers in black, grey and white with a speed hump. Size UK40 Euro50 - I'm 5ft 8ish and about 11 stone and they fit fine. They've had very very little use as I used my identical 'made to measure' set in preference once I got them back from the makers. Never touched tarmac except around the top of the right knee area where a knee slider ripped off round Coppice at Donington (The velcro stitching is scuffed through). ?125
Secondly...
These are a set of MJK leathers in blue, white and black made for a mate of mine. He's shorter than me by about an inch, but a little porkier - maybe 13 stone with a larger chest. Older than my Nitros and not in as good shape to look at, but of higher quality all round. If you know about leathers you'll know that MJK are some of the best made, far better than any off the peg ones you can buy, and I include all your Dainese and Alpinestars in that.
These ones have seen some action, but are a long way from being knackered. There's a couple of very small holes around the hip area over armour and scuffs on the design on the right arm which has taken out the stitching on an overlaid panel, but they will easily pass scutineering. The main suit structure is intact except for the tiny holes. These leathers were raced and have some oil and brake pad etc sponsor badges sewn on to the chest and upper arms. ?200 (which is a bargain for a suit that would normally cost over ?1000)
Both suits are fully armoured up with CE approved stuff, and in the case of the MJKs it's T-Pro top quality stuff.
Photos available on request, and I'd advise trying before buying. I'll be taking them to Silverstone if anyone is interested.
